This is a band saw over 120 years old, which has been painstakingly restored by hand and converted into a table. The tabletop, measuring 100cm x 100cm, is attached to the machine with 2 screws. A beautiful relic from the 19th century that has already sawed many meters of wood.
The tabletop was created from small oak strips in a so-called "herringbone pattern." Each individual strip was glued to a base plate and sawn to size by hand.
The machine has a total height of approx. 180cm.
