High-quality workmanship! Our belt is made of 4.5 mm thick, vegetable-tanned leather from animals from the Swabian region. The hides are processed into leather by a regional tannery in the Swabian Jura. The animals are pasture-raised, which makes the leather very robust and strong. Nevertheless, it is very supple, and the belts are not stiff at all, despite their thickness.
The buckle is locked and sewn by hand using a saddle stitch. This seam is more stable than a machine stitch because it is sewn with two needles, one from each side. With every stitch, the waxed thread is knotted within the seam, making the seam particularly strong and durable. A screw rivet provides additional reinforcement. The edges of the belt have been polished with beeswax.
Stainless steel buckle - The buckle gives the belt a look that is both modern and classic. It is robust and functional, yet simultaneously underscores the elegant appearance of the entire belt.
Antique brass buckle - The brass buckle with a great patina is for those who love retro. The antique brass fits perfectly with the black of the leather and gives the belt a special charm.
