A passion for vintage sewing machines and extraordinary fabrics!

This was the reason why Michael Cerny started designing and sewing men's waistcoats.

In his workshop, he creates unique waistcoats using high-quality fabrics. These are designed and sewn with absolute precision and craftsmanship.

This is a men's waistcoat made from vintage historical grain sacks. Nowadays, this material is truly hard or even impossible to find. That is why it is all the more wonderful that these fabrics, or rather grain sacks, some with fantastic imprints and dates, are being preserved. These sacks come in jute, hemp, or linen. This particular model is made of hemp fiber. A truly fascinating material that has unfortunately lost its significance in the present day. However, one should know that people all over Europe have been making clothing from hemp fibers for approximately 5,500 years.

Of course, these old sacks are true treasures to us as well and are by no means available in large quantities. However, over the years, we have collected and cleaned many of these sacks. Some of them are absolute rarities, with motifs, names, or locations that are one-of-a-kind.

The inner lining is a striped linen fabric from Italy.

These waistcoats are sewn on old, in some cases even historical sewing machines, several of which can be found in our workshop. You can find the matching belt among our leather goods.

We are happy to customize the waistcoats to your individual measurements if standard sizes do not fit.

We also manufacture waistcoats using your personal choice of fabrics and colors.

The waistcoat is made to order. Duration approx. 1-2 weeks. Care instructions are also included so that you can enjoy this unique piece for a long time to come.
