"Wild Man" men's vest

A passion for vintage sewing machines and exceptional fabrics!

This was the reason Michael Cerny began designing and sewing men's vests.

In his workshop, unique vests are created using very high-quality fabrics. These are designed and sewn with absolute precision and craftsmanship.

This particular men's vest is made from vintage historic grain sacks combined with deerskin from Europe's last "old-fashioned" tannery, namely the Kolesch Tannery in Biberach Riß.

This combination unites tradition, craftsmanship, and history.

Of course, these old sacks are true treasures to us as well, and we certainly do not have them in large quantities. However, over the years, we have collected and cleaned many of these sacks. Some are absolute rarities, featuring motifs, names, or locations that will never be found again.

The back motif may vary or be neutral, meaning it has no print. Please let us know your preferences. We are also happy to send you examples of available sack motifs in advance. The color of the deerskin may also vary slightly, which speaks to its uniqueness.

The lining is a lightly waxed, durable canvas.

These vests are sewn on vintage, sometimes even historic sewing machines, some of which can be found in our workshop. You can find the matching belt in our leather goods section. 

We are happy to custom-fit the vests to your measurements if standard sizes do not fit. 

We also make vests using your personal choice of fabrics and colors.

The vest is made to order. The production time is approximately 1–2 weeks. Care instructions are also included so that you can enjoy this unique piece for a long time.
