This is our "Vivi" waist belt for the lady.
High-quality craftsmanship! Our belt is made of 4 mm thick, vegetable-tanned leather from local animals. We place great importance on regionality and sustainability. That is why we consciously avoid using leather from the Far East or tanneries we do not know or cannot visit.
Due to multiple requests for us to create a slim waist belt, we now have this wonderful companion in our range, which is created entirely in our workshop, from the selection of the leather to the finished product. Intended for a summer dress, cardigan, blouse, or in combination with a great "vintage look," this belt, measuring only 2.5 cm in width, sits subtly and unobtrusively on your waist.
The solid brass buckle, containing no chromium or nickel, complements the cognac color of the leather perfectly.
The buckle is secured and sewn by hand using the saddle stitch. This seam is sturdier than a machine-made one because it is sewn with two needles from both sides. With every stitch, the waxed thread is knotted within the seam, making it particularly stable and durable. A screw rivet provides additional reinforcement. The edges of the belt have been polished with beeswax.
Dimensions! The belt is 2.5 cm wide and available in various sizes/lengths.
