All \u003cstrong\u003edating back to 1918.\u003c\/strong\u003e Woven in a \u003cstrong\u003eherringbone pattern.\u003c\/strong\u003e We were lucky enough to acquire a total of 14 of these sacks, allowing us to create several vests with this unique motif. We still wonder today who these sacks originally belonged to.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis material is truly hard, if not impossible, to find these days. That is why it is all the more wonderful when these fabrics, or rather grain sacks, are preserved, some with fantastic prints and years. These sacks exist in jute, hemp, or linen. This model is made of \u003cstrong\u003ehemp fiber.\u003c\/strong\u003e A truly fascinating material that has unfortunately lost its significance in the present day. However, one should know that people all over Europe have been making clothing from hemp fibers \u003cstrong\u003efor about 5,500 years.\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf course, these old sacks are \u003cstrong\u003etrue treasures\u003c\/strong\u003e for us as well and are by no means available in large quantities. However, over the years, we have collected and cleaned many of these sacks. Some are \u003cstrong\u003eabsolute rarities,\u003c\/strong\u003e with motifs, names, or locations that do not exist a second time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inner lining is a blue canvas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese vests are sewn on old, in some cases even \u003cstrong\u003ehistoric sewing machines,\u003c\/strong\u003e some of which can be found in our workshop. You can find the matching belt in our leather goods section. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWe are happy to customize the vests to your individual measurements if standard sizes do not fit. \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWe can also manufacture vests using your personal choice of fabrics and colors.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vest is made to order.
